The best way to enhance your privacy while you send personal information is to add a service to your email provider that encrypts it while it's in transit. One of the free options available is https://www.securemyemail.com/ but you can search for more options.
Unless you are using an encrypted email, please do not send any additional/personal health information within your initial email to me as it might not be fully encrypted, therefore, I cannot guarantee its confidentiality.
If you choose to communicate confidential information with me in your initial email, I will assume that you have made an informed decision and I will view it as your agreement to take the risk that the email might be intercepted.
After we have our initial phone call, if we decide to work together - I will add your email to my list of email recipients and that way emails sent between us will be encrypted through the use of an encrypting service.
Please be aware that email is never an appropriate vehicle for emergency communication.

Everything said within the therapy sessions is confidential, except in certain circumstances. These exceptions may include cases where there is a threat of harm to oneself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, legal requirements, or the need for consultation with other professionals During the first session I will provide a detailed explanation of the confidentiality policy to establish clear boundaries and expectations with you.
I work with Individuals and couples. I do not work with minors.
I work from a client-centered approach, meaning I meet you where you are at, and I will only move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is that you feel safe, accepted, and respected
My fees are structured to provide flexible options according to your current needs.
If you want to come to therapy but can't afford the fees please reach out to me and I will check if you qualify for a discount.
I do not take insurance. However, I can provide you with a special receipt called "super bill" upon request that you can submit to your insurance. You may be reimbursed for a portion of your payment. In some cases the reimbursement can be significant depending on your insurance and your specific plan.
I recommend you contact your insurance prior to actually starting therapy to find out if and how much you will be reimbursed as you will be responsible for the full fee.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
While I do not provide medication as a service, I can certainly refer you to some qualified medical professionals who can assist you with that aspect of your care
The length of time it takes to see results from therapy varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may start feeling some improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.
