NEW!!! - option to meet IN PERSON in Bergen County, NJ
Please reach me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The best way to contact me is through email at anath@yourpathtogrow.com or through text at 201-644-6424.
Please include in your email or text your first name and your phone number and a very short message and I will contact you as soon as possible.
Please expect 1-2 business days to receive a call back from me (with the exception of weekends and holidays - then it might take longer).
If you are difficult to reach, please inform me of times that will be available and I will try to call you back then.
Unless you are using an encrypted email or phone, please do not send any additional/personal health information in your message to me as it might not be fully secured
Please be aware that email or text is never an appropriate vehicle for emergency communication.
If you are experiencing an emergency please call 911 or go to your closest emergency room.
Everything said within the therapy sessions is confidential, except in certain circumstances. These exceptions may include cases where there is a threat of harm to oneself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, legal requirements, the need for consultation with other professionals. etc.
During our first session I will provide you with a detailed explanation of the confidentiality policy to establish clear expectations and boudaries with you.
I work with Individuals and couples. I do not work with minors.
I work from a client-centered approach, meaning I meet you where you are at, and I will only move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is that you feel safe, accepted, and respected
I operate on a self-pay basis, meaning I don’t work directly with insurance companies as an in-network provider. However, if you have health insurance, you might have out-of-network benefits and might be able to use them to help your recover some of the cost of our sessions.
If you’d like to use your out-of-network benefits, please let me know in our first meeting so I can set up the systems accordingly.
If that is the case, at the end of each month, I’ll prepare a super bill for you. This is a detailed receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim.
Please keep in mind that submitting a super bill and filing a claim doesn’t guarantee reimbursement.
To get a clearer idea of your coverage and eligibility, I recommend checking with your insurance provider about your specific plan.
If you have privacy concerns, don't want to involve your insurance and prefer not to use your out-of-network benefits I can provide you with regular receipts as proof of payment.
In either case, you’ll be responsible for the full cost of each session, with payment expected at the end of each appointment.
If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out.
I do not bill insurance companies directly, but, per your request, I can provide you with super bills that you may submit to your insurance company.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a good faith estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a good faith estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your good faith estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a good faith estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
While I do not provide medication as a service, I can certainly refer you to some qualified medical professionals who can assist you with that aspect of your care.
The length of time it takes to see results from therapy varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may start feeling some improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.
If you have an emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
We’ll spend 15-20 minutes chatting, I will ask you questions and I will gladly answer all of yours.
We’ll have a good idea during the consultation if what I am really good at aligns with what you truly need. When all the stars align, our therapeutic relationship will naturally allow you to feel safe enough to do your healing work.
During your initial session, I will ask about your life including detailed medical and mental health history, family of origin, relationship issues, occupation including what has brought you to therapy and your goals for it. This will allow me to suggest a treatment plan that is specific for you. Before our first session I will send you some form and I will request from you to fill them and sign them before our appointment
If you have to cancel, please make sure to do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Cancelling in less than 24 hours (unless you had an emergency) may result in charging you for the missed session.
